The EverDriven model is so centered around children. It’s not an Uber service. It’s not merely a taxi. Relationships are always being built with parents, and they have excellent communication with schools.
The biggest blessing has been the online portal. It makes it really easy for me to pull reports. From a parenting perspective, having EverDriven’s VIP app also allows families to cancel easily rather than require I do it.
The largest cost savings for us is not paying per kid but per trip. We can have two or three kids on a trip with close pickup locations, and they’re going to similar places. The kids still get the same service—and a short trip—while still maintaining cost-effectiveness for us.

What I appreciate about our EverDriven drivers is that they take relationship building to heart and they take it really, really seriously. In the videos that I’ve seen of rides from our EverDriven drivers, they’ve done a great job connecting with our students and helping prepare them for their day.
My favorite part of student transportation is meeting the needs of students with special needs, and I feel that EverDriven does a great job working with me in doing that. I’ve found that the EverDriven drivers are amazing in meeting student special needs. They are invested in learning how to provide students what they need to be successful — offering the proper safety equipment that’s outlined in the IEP and supporting with the right tools.
That’s when getting an EverDriven car to help supplement and pick up a few of those stops just makes sense… EverDriven can come in as a partner and help service those students and get them to the schools where they feel loved, where their needs are being met. It’s just a really great thing to have a driver care about them and make sure that happens.
EverDriven really meets our needs for students who live outside of the school boundaries. They meet the needs for all of our kids — from a pre-K student who may be homeless and just needs a ride back to their school, all the way through our transitioning students who are 18, 19, 21 and doing job training in the community. EverDriven meets the needs for all of our kids.
